摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a water cooler component capable of suppressing the non-uniformity of the thickness of an insulating layer 3 when manufacturing the water cooler component for which a recessed groove 2 to be the flow path of cooling water is formed on one surface of a metal base material 1 and also the insulating layer 3 is laminated on a surface on the opposite side of the one surface. SOLUTION: A thermosetting resin layer 4 in a non-set or half-set state is formed on the surface on the opposite side of the one surface of the base material 1 having the recessed groove 2 formed on the one surface. A buffer material 6 is laid through an intermediate plate 5 on the thermosetting resin layer 4 to configure a laminated object. By executing heating and pressing treatment to the laminated object, the thermosetting resin layer 4 is set and the insulating layer 3 is formed. Even when a molding pressure is applied to the base material 1, a projection part 8 formed between the recessed grooves 2 of the base material 1 does not sink into the buffer material 6 as in the case of laying the buffer material 6 on the side where the recessed groove 2 is formed of the base material 1.
