PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transfer omission by a decharging effect, without affecting a size and a cost of own device, and to provide an image of high quality. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a means for applying a decharge bias to a decharging means in a recording medium transferred with the image, a means for feeding back an output voltage from the means for applying the decharge bias, and a control means for updating-controlling a value of a driving pulse of the decharge bias, based on a feedback value of the output voltage of the decharge bias, and the control means controls the value of the driving pulse of the decharge bias at a fixed value, irrespective of the feedback value, when the value of the driving pulse of the decharge bias comes to a prescribed value or more.
