PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent member and a timepiece, having reflection prevention function, sufficiently high hardness, and secured scratch resistance, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the translucent member. SOLUTION: This translucent member 1 is equipped with a translucent base material 10, and a reflection prevention layer 11 having the reflection prevention function is formed on at least a part of a body surface part of the base material 10, and the reflection prevention layer includes ion injected into the base material 10, which is at least one kind selected from F, B, H and Si.
