PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand screen for accurately and quickly constructing parallel position relationship of a reflection mirror and a screen sheet by simple adjusting working and quickly obtaining beautiful images without any distortion, and to provide a rear projection image display system. SOLUTION: The rear projection image display system 1 includes: a projector 2 for projecting video light; the reflection mirror 11 for reflecting the video light from the projector 2, and the stand screen 4 for projecting the images by receiving the video light from the reflection mirror 11. The stand screen 4 includes: a light transmission screen sheet 31 for displaying the images on a front side by receiving the video light reflected on the reflection mirror 11 on a rear face side; a screen support frame 32 for supporting the screen sheet 31; and a standing board 42 for making a right angle to the screen sheet 31 in a plan view by facing a board face in right and left directions of the screen sheet 31.
