PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic physical property evaluation method of a material which enables the easy and accurate evaluation of the dynamic physical properties of various materials, and to provide a system for executing it. SOLUTION: A target test piece is fixed, and a flight member is discharged at a predetermined speed from a high-precision flight member discharging device which is to collide with the test piece for measuring the time history of the deformation quantities of the respective parts of the test piece at collision. The error of this measured value with the result which is obtained by setting the estimate value of an unknown dynamic physical property value to an initial value to perform the structural analysis of collision deformation is calculated, and the discharge speed of the flight member is altered, to repeat this operation to generate a respond curved surface, approximate to the corresponding relation of the estimate value with the error. The estimate value that takes the minimum value in the response curved surface is set as a value showing the physical property value of the test piece to decide the physical value of the test piece.
