PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cost of an outer periphery inspection device for work, by minimizing the number of cameras to be used in performing the inspection of the outer periphery of the work, as well as, to enable combination with a feed device, using a turntable that corresponds to the requirement for arranging the cameras on the sideway of the work. SOLUTION: The outer periphery inspection device of the work includes an inspection part B, into which the work 20 is sent, the cameras 11<SB>-1</SB>and 11<SB>-2</SB>arranged to the inspection part B so as to view the work from sideways, and the prisms 12<SB>-1</SB>-12<SB>-3</SB>allowed to be attached to the respective cameras. The images facing straight up to the work 20 and the images viewing the work 20 via the prisms (images from a plurality of directions) are photographed by two cameras and the obtained images are sent to an image processor to be processed, and the quality of the outer periphery of the work 20 is determined, on the basis of the data after processing.
