SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a reference position detection means 104 detecting a reference position of crank angle detected by a crank angle detection means 103, a crank angle identification means 105 identifying a crank angle based on the reference position of the crank angle detected by the reference position detection means 104 and a cam angle detected by a cam angle detection means 102, and a spill valve control timing operation means 106 operating the control timing of a spill valve 211 adjusting a quantity of fuel supplied from a fuel supply means 201. The spill valve control timing operation means 106 is provided with a normal control timing operation means 107 used when the crank angle is identified by the crank angle identification means 105, and a bypass control timing operation means 108 used when the crank angle is not identified by the crank angle identification means 105.
