PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine controller capable of precisely detecting a resonance of a fly wheel with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The engine controller comprises an engine control device 50 for controlling an engine 10 equipped with a fly wheel 30 constituted by coupling, via an elastic body 33, an input-side flywheel 31 and an output-side flywheel 32 which are provided in a divided fashion, an engine revolution speed detector 15 for detecting an engine revolution speed every given crank angle interval, an operational equipment for judging the resonance of the fly wheel based on a first engine revolution speed at a first crank angle space and a second engine revolution speed at a second crank angle space smaller than the first crank angle space.
