<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high output from a fuel cell body in the operational condition of the fuel cell body in which a membrane electrode assembly is inevitably dried. <P>SOLUTION: An operation under a condition in which a membrane electrode assembly 21 is inevitably dried is predicted in advance, using a navigation device 70. An air flow rate is controlled so that the water content of the membrane electrode assembly 21 becomes high to an extent that does not cause flooding before the operation under the above condition is started. A proper level of water content is accumulated in the membrane electrode assembly 21 to prevent deterioration in the capability of the fuel cell body 11 due to drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
