<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate pests from an elevator cage without giving a feeling of discomfort due to spray of a pest extermination agent and inconvenience due to light-off of the elevator cage to a passenger. <P>SOLUTION: An opening 11 opened with a dimension capable of passing a pest 16 is installed to a lamp house 8 in a cage 1. Furthermore, a light trap room 21, to which a light trap 12 for emitting near ultraviolet lights for inducing the pest 16 is mounted, is installed inside the lamp house 8. Also, a suction room 26, to which a suction fan 14 for sucking the pests 16 collected around the light trap 12 is mounted, is installed at a deep part of the light trap room 21. The phototactic pests 16 entering the cage 1 enter inside of the lamp house 8 from the opening 11, and are induced by the lights emitted from the light trap 12, sucked by the suction fan 14 and trapped at the deep part of the suction room 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
