<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved utility model of a developing cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The developing cartridge 28 includes: a housing (cartridge body 60 and a cover body 70) whose inner includes developer; a developing roll 31 which can be rotatably supported on the housing; and a detecting member 90 provided with a projecting piece 91 which is projected to the outer side from the external surface 71 of the housing, and a supporting member 92 which supports the projecting piece 91 and can move corresponding to the housing.
