<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a record medium disposal system and record medium disposal apparatus capable of certainly disposing a record medium to be disposed. <P>SOLUTION: In the record medium disposal system, a document recorded in a recording paper being a record medium to be disposed is read by a reading part 28 of a disposal apparatus 12. When a QR code image is included in information read by a reading part 28, a QR code information decoding part 62 decodes the QR code image, and a searching part 58 searches document ID information. The searching part 58 searches storage period information stored in association with the document ID information stored in a database 56, and transmits the information to a disposal control part 12 of the disposal apparatus 12. Characteristic information of the document when the QR code image is recorded is included in the QR code information. The characteristic information of the recording paper to be disposed which is read by the reading part 28 and the characteristic information of the QR code image are compared. When the degree of similarity satisfies a previously set threshold, the document is determined as the recording paper to be disposed, and a cutting driver 72 drives a cutting mechanism so as to cut the document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
