DIGITAL-ANALOG VIDEO DATA CONVERSION ADAPTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a video deck to directly reproduce animation data which are video-recorded in accordance with a digital video format.

SOLUTION: This conversion adapter includes a case 2 which includes a size same as that of a VTR cassette and is inserted from a cassette insertion aperture of the VTR deck, and the case includes: endless video tapes 4a-4d to be loaded on a rotary head of the VTR deck when the case is set into the VTR deck; an erasing head 6 for erasing records of the video tape before the analog video data are newly recorded; a memory slot section 9 into which a semiconductor memory card is inserted; an animation decoding section 10 for reading out and decoding digital video data being video-recorded on the semiconductor memory card to convert them to the analog video data; and a video-recording head 11 for video-recording the analog video data on the video tape.
