PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the signal cable of an RF coil from being in contact with a subject or entangled in a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: For the signal cable 35 that the RF coil 31 disposed near the subject 150 has, by forming the coating material by a shape memory material for instance or inserting it so as to cross between guide members 37a and 37b, a prescribed shape is presented corresponding to a distance between the attaching position of the RF coil and a connection port 61 to connect the cable. Thus, it is made possible to be freed from the troublesome labor of spreading the cable along the groove of a cable handling mechanism, the cable is prevented from being in contact with the subject or entangled, and the decline of the image quality of reconfigured images is prevented as well.
