PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial coating film having the glitter and antibacterial properties originally possessed by silver and having a smooth surface, and to provide a food container, tableware, furniture and building materials each of which has the glitter and antibacterial properties originally possessed by silver, a smooth surface, and beautiful appearance. SOLUTION: The antibacterial coating film is produced by cutting an antibacterial film, in which a thin silver film is formed on a resin plate 6 having a thickness of 5-50μm. In the antibacterial coating film, a content of antibacterial film flakes 9 having a particle diameter that allows passage through a mesh with an aperture of 150μm is 0.5-10 mass%, and the coating film thickness after drying is 10-100μm.
