PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film having both good transparency and low steam penetrability. SOLUTION: The film is produced from a polymer composition which comprises: a crystalline norbornene-based ring-opened polymer (1) which is obtained by ring-opening polymerizing polymerizable monomers comprising 90 to 100 wt.% of 2-norbornene and 10 to 0 wt.% of a substituent-containing norbornene compound and then hydrogenating the obtained polymer and has a melting point of 110 to 145°C, a weight-average mol.wt. of 50,000 to 200,000 and a weight-average mol.wt./number-average mol.wt. ratio of 1.5 to 10.0; and an amorphous alicyclic structure-containing polymer (2) which is obtained from polymerizable monomers comprising a 2-norbornene compound and a dicyclopentadiene compound in a total amount of≥90 wt.% and having a 2-norbornene compound weight in an amount of≤1/2 based on the dicyclopentadiene weight, has a glass transition temperature of≥50°C, and does not have a melting point, in a weight ratio of 90/10 to 50/50.
