PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting structure capable of facilitating an inner wall surface of an elevator car of an elevator only by hooking and suspending a protecting panel member on a hook member, and capable of rapidly performing protecting work. SOLUTION: The protecting structure is provided with vertical and lateral side wall surface protecting panels 10 and 16 for protecting a side wall surface 6; and a plurality of hook members for hooking and suspending a floor surface protecting panel member 17 for protecting a floor surface 7, and the vertical and lateral side wall surface protecting panel members 10 and 16 along the side wall surface 6. Hooking holes provided on upper parts of the vertical and lateral side wall surface protecting panel members 10 and 16 are hooked on hook parts of the plurality of the hook members arranged on the upper part of the side wall surface 6 laterally in a row, and the side wall surface 6 is protected by the side wall surface protecting panel members 10 and 16, and the floor surface protecting panel member 17 is fixed on the floor surface 7, and the floor surface 7 is protected.
