PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid transferring apparatus in which good joining of a plurality of plates can be achieved while the number of the layered plates forming a common liquid chamber is reduced and increase of a flow channel resistance in the common liquid chamber is suppressed, and to provide a manufacturing method for the liquid transferring apparatus. SOLUTION: A flow channel unit 31 has a layered product of the plurality of plates 41-47 including two manifold plates 44 and 45 wherein manifold forming holes 51a and 51b are respectively prepared for forming part of a manifold flow channel 51. A first projecting part 64 and a second projecting part 65 are formed at the two manifold plates 44 and 45, respectively, projecting inside from sidewall faces of the manifold forming holes 51a and 51b. Moreover, in a state where the two manifold plates 44 and 45 are layered on one another, the first projecting part 64 and the second projecting part 65 are in touch with each other overlapping only at respective leading ends.
