PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-refill writing utensil which has a plurality of refills under a simple construction, and a body reduced in size, and also is provided economically. SOLUTION: This multi-refill writing utensil is of the following configuration: a sliding piece 22 is connected with the rear end of a refill 2 and has a securing plate 30, which moves along an inside plate 4 arranged in the body, when the sliding piece 22 moves back and forth. A sliding piece latching plate 41 is elastically set in contact with the inside plate 4. An inclined surface 43 is formed at the rear end of the sliding piece latching plate 41, and an upright surface 42 is formed at the forward end. An upright surface 32 engaging with the upright surface 42 at the forward end of the sliding piece latching plate 41, and an inclined surface 31 engaging with an inclined surface 43 formed at the rear end, are arranged on the securing plate 30.
