PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rate of drawing of an aluminum tube stock and to prevent seizure from occurring by faulty lubrication in drawing the aluminum tube stock, in a method for manufacturing an aluminum tube for photoreceptor drum substrates, by which the aluminum tube for photosensitive drum substrates is manufactured by drawing the aluminum tube stock. SOLUTION: The aluminum tube stock 20 is moved in a drawing direction X while scraping a lubricant 8 attached to the outer peripheral face of the tube stock 20 and spreading the lubricant 8 on the outer peripheral face of the tube stock 20 in its peripheral direction, by means of a scraper 5 arranged on the upstream side of a drawing die 2.
