The invention relates to novel cyclic oxosilanes on the basis of sugar derivatives and to methods for the production thereof. Within the scope of the invention, it was accomplished, inter alia, to introduce silicon atoms at the anomer center of carbohydrates. The novel compounds according to the invention and the corresponding production methods not only constitute an improvement compared to previously known silanes, but furthermore can also improve the properties of previously known carbohydrate and/or sugar compounds and significantly expand the fields of application thereof. |
