PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a torque characteristic by effective use of magnetic flux, to reduce eddy current loss occurring in a coil, to suppress loss even if a metal member with high thermal conductivity is brought close to or is stuck to a coil surface exposed to a fluctuation magnetic field, to improve heat transmission performance and to improve cooling performance. SOLUTION: A coil assembly for rotating electrical machine includes first and second coil plates (3 and 4) where wiring patterns are formed so that coil segments 3a and 4a consisting of conductors are adjacent through slits 31 and 41, magnetic flux transmission member slots 32 and 42 which are formed in the slits 31 and 41 and are wider than the slits 31 and 41, a coil 5 where the coil plates (3 and 4) are laminated so that the magnetic flux transmission member slots 32 and 42 are overlapped, and a magnetic flux transmission member 53 inserted into the magnetic flux transmission member slot 52 (32, 42) of the coil 5.
