PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a document corresponding to a user's vocabulary level in a document search system. SOLUTION: The document search system 1 for extracting a desired document from a database 5 storing information for a plurality of documents comprises: a keyword search means 2 which extracts a corresponding document based on a search keyword 10 input by the user from the database 5; and a vocabulary condition processing means 3 which refines the information extracted by the keyword search means 2 based on a vocabulary condition 12 including information for a vocabulary level set by the user.
