PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or restrain disadvantage from being generated caused by a defective image, even when an image formable range is not sufficiently wide in structure. SOLUTION: This image forming system acquires printable range intrinsic to each of respective LED heads 19K-19C, and regulates a position or a size of a formed image, to be matched to the printable range, when the image based on a printing data is judged to be not installed within the printable range. The disadvantage is thereby prevented or restrained from being generated caused by the defective image, without designing the structural printable range sufficiently widely compared with the maximum printable range on a specification.
