PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loader device not causing interference of a workpiece with a machine tool in conveying the workpiece and capable of making the whole of the device compact when it is combined with the machine tool. SOLUTION: The loader device 2 is provided with a traveling body 21 traveling between a workpiece placement part and the machine tool 1, and a workpiece clamping unit 24 provided on the traveling body 21 and capable of clamping the workpiece. The workpiece clamping unit 24 has two loader chucks 25A, 25B capable of mutually attitude-switching to workpiece attachment part corresponding attitude, i.e., attitude when receiving/giving of the workpiece is performed between the workpiece attachment part 5a of the machine tool 1 and it and feeding/discharge attitude, i.e., attitude when feeding of the workpiece is received at the workpiece placement part or the workpiece is discharged. An attitude switching mechanism 28 for attitude-switching the two loader chucks 25A, 25B has function for stopping the loader chucks to intermediate attitude not any one of the workpiece attachment part corresponding attitude and the feeding/discharge attitude.
