PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced flame-retardant resin molded article having improved strength such as impact resistance, securing high flame retardancy by the addition of a small amount, and obtained by using a biomass material as a main raw material. SOLUTION: The fiber-reinforced flame-retardant resin molded article is composed of a fiber-reinforced flame-retardant resin composition comprising a thermoplastic polyester resin, a flame retardant and a thermoplastic polyester fiber. The thermoplastic polyester resin contains one or more kinds of an aliphatic polyester resin and an aromatic polyester resin wherein at least a part of the raw materials includes a biomass material. The aliphatic polyester resin includes a polylactic acid resin, or one or more kinds of a microorganism-produced resin (polyhydroxyalkanoate), a polybutylene succinate, a polyethylene succinate and a polytrimethylene terephthalate, and the melting point of the thermoplastic polyester fiber is lower than the decomposition point of the thermoplastic polyester resin.
