PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying method capable of nicely eliminating stuffing of paper sheets in an air duct when conveying paper sheets with air flow. SOLUTION: In the paper sheet conveying method for conveying paper sheets 32 in an air duct 22 by using a paper sheet conveying device having the air duct 22 and an air flow generating device 24 for generating air flow in the air duct 22, when the paper sheets 32 are stuffed in the air duct 22, the movement of the paper sheets 32 is promoted by applying the physical force to the paper sheets 32 to eliminate stuffing of the paper sheets 32. A hooking piece 230 having a hooking part 231 and movable by the air flow in the air duct 22 is allowed to flow in the air duct 22, and the paper sheets 32 stuffed therein are hooked by the hooking part 231 of the hooking piece 230 and moved. A collecting device 34 of the paper sheets 32 is provided on a terminating part of the air duct 22. The hooking piece 230 and the paper sheets 32 are stopped in the collecting device 34 to take the hooking piece 230 and the paper sheets 32 outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
