PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting apparatus which includes a circular-arc-like suction carrier body, in which a label strip peeled off by a peeling means is sucked and held by a circular-arc-like suction face to paste the label strip to an object of label-to-be-pasted-to while accompanying the rotation of the suction carrier body. SOLUTION: The label pasting apparatus comprises: a peeling means 10 that peels label strip 2 temporarily pasted to a long-shaped pasteboard 3 in synchronization with the conveyance of the object 51 to be pasted from a sheet 3; a suction carrier body 30, standing-by downstream of the peeling means, having a suction face 31 formed thereon, having a circular-arc-like cross-section and sucking/retaining the strip of the label on its bent surface; and a spinning support shaft 34 rotatably supporting the suction carrier body with the suction face of the suction carrier body being located at the tip end side. In synchronism with the stripping means stripping the label strip, the suction carrier body in waiting downstream of the stripping means is rotated downward in the downstream direction while sucking the label strip on its suction face for retention, the rotation of the suction carrier body being furthermore continued, putting the label strip on the suction face in contact with the object of label-to-be-pasted-to on a conveyance means so that the label strip is pasted thereto.
