A thermal management system and wind turbine (100) are provided comprising a gearbox (136) containing a lubrication medium and a pump (310) for circulating the lubrication medium. A gearbox lubrication suction pipe (410, 910) is used for transporting the lubrication medium from the gearbox (136) to the pump (310). At least one pump outlet pipe (350) can be used for transporting the lubrication medium from the pump (310) to other components of the wind turbine. A thermal wrap (420, 520, 720, 820, 920) is in thermal connection to, at least a portion of, at least one of, the gearbox (136), pump (310), gearbox lubrication suction pipe (410, 910) and pump outlet pipe (350). The thermal wrap (420, 520, 720, 820, 920) is used to heat or cool, at least a portion of, the lubrication medium. |
