A method of driving plasma display panel and a plasma display device are provided to improve discharge efficiency by generating a voltage waveform for performing two discharges by the supply of one sustain pulse continuously. A sustainer pulse comprises a discharge voltage waveform having the two peak values for two discharges in a half period, and it supplies two peaks voltage waveform continuously to a pair of display electrodes. A time that the peak voltage waveform is reached to a second of peak value and clamped is longer than that of a previous supplied pulse.
