A scrubbing-and-drying unit is provided, which can further shorten drying operation time and also can reduce power consumption. A heat pump formed inside the scrubbing-and-drying unit comprises: an inverter circuit (83) which controls a compressor motor (45M) for controlling a compressor when air heated by a condenser is fed into a rotating trough so that the inside dried goods are dried, exhaust from the rotating trough is dehumidified through an evaporator and then is heated again through the evaporator for air circulation; and a control unit (56) which controls the inverter circuit (83); a drying travel control part (70) of the control unit (56), in the preliminary stage of drying operation, which enables the compressor motor (45M) to operate a low intensity field by voltage phase control then switched to vector control of the compressor motor (45M) by current control to operate the full field. |
