<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for surely controlling temperature rise regardless of the range of a shift lever in a vehicle provided with an automatic transmission and for improving the regeneration efficiency of a particulate filter. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device is constructed so that when the particulate filer needs regenerating, a drive range idling rotation speed during regeneration in case that the shift lever of the automatic transmission is in a drive range D is set higher than a normal idling rotation speed, when the vehicle is stopped with an accelerator put off and with a foot brake put on with the shift lever of the automatic transmission kept in the drive range D, an exhaust brake is operated and after injection is performed, and a neutral idling rotation speed during regeneration in case that the shift lever of the automatic transmission is shifted from the drive range D to a neutral range N is set higher than the drive range idling rotation speed during regeneration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
