<p>The vehicle has a driver assistance system with a steering torque providing device (14) for active transverse guiding of the vehicle. A differential gear (6) is adjustable by a servo-motor (7) so that rotation of a steering column (3) is partially compensated to provide low actual steering wheel rotation movement. The system has a camera (15) to determine a lane, where the guiding serves for a lane limit during determining of a vehicle relative position. The compensation takes place during determining of the position lying in a defined partial area of a system-lateral predefined lane width. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a motor vehicle.</p> |
