FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry, particularly to quantitative measurement of pollution (deposits) on the heating surface of a boiler unit, formed during inter-repair periods. The method involves measurement of the amount of dirt on the heating surface, comparing the measurement results with given values and, based on the comparison results, deciding on further use of the boiler operation or stopping operation and removing dirt. Measurement of the amount of dirt on heating surfaces is done at the beginning and end of heating. The measured parametre is the sum of ions in water at the inlet and outlet of the boiler unit, and the amount of water coming at the inlet of the boiler unit. Total amount of dirt on the heating surface of the boiler unit is defined as the difference between pollution values at the inlet and outlet of the boiler using a given relationship. ^ EFFECT: simple method for highly accurate measurement of pollution of a boiler unit with minimal labour input during operation. ^ 2 tbl, 2 dwg |
