FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the optimised method and to the device for liquid-phase oxidation of aromatic compounds. The oxidation in liquid phase of the multiphase reaction is carried out in the bubble column reactor. The reaction zone includes the lower and upper sections. The lower section has the first maximal area of horizontal cross section, and the upper one - the second maximal area of horizontal cross section.
