A car elevating apparatus and a parking method using the same are provided to form various types of entrance and exit of the lifter and to help the driver park the car conveniently. A car elevating apparatus comprises a lifter in which cars are mounted to lift, and a passage through which the lifter moves. The lifter is equipped with a turn table(430) on the bottom in order to change the direction of the mounted car, and a mount plate(440) on the top of the turn table. The mount plate can slide from side to side. A circular first rail(432) is provided beneath the turn table and equipped with a first drive motor(434) in the center. A rack gear(436) is installed on the top of the turn table, and a pinion gear(446) is installed on the bottom of the mount plate, corresponding to the rack gear. The pinion gear is connected to a second driver motor(448). An entrance and exits for the lifter are installed on the front and both sides, respectively.
