EJECTION DEVICE FOR AN EMPTY CARTRIDGE

An empty cartridge expulsion device is provided to make the empty cartridge expulsion easy especially the empty cartridge with the short length and the large diameter by giving the big angular moment to the empty cartridge. An empty cartridge expulsion device comprises a rake(11), a rake pawl spring(13), an ejector(15), and an ejecting spring(16). The rake moves like a lever while being supported by a rake pawl(12) and eject an empty cartridge(10) from a breech. The rake pawl spring supports the backend of the rake pawl with the elastic force. The ejector gives the angular moment to the empty cartridge. The ejector spring pushes the ejector out. The rake, the rake pawl and rake pawl spring are established in right and left of the empty cartridge. An inclined protrusion is formed in the leading end of an ejector side rake(11a) in order to be easily separated from the empty cartridge. A protrusion is located the leading end of an empty cartridge outlet side rake(11b) in order to adamantly catch the backend of the empty cartridge.
