FIELD: textile; paper. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns knitted fabric manufacturing technology, particularly manufacturing of tubular single-knit sinker knitted fabric with patterns. Method of knitting single-knit sinker fabric with patterns and arbitrary inclusion of plated loops and tucked loops in the pattern involves plated thread broach through individually selected needles raised above the level of complete needle clearing and forming a pattern, and through individually selected edge hooks raised above needles forming pattern loops and raised by a level higher than incomplete needle clearance for previous loop removal from needle latches. Further binder thread is broached through all needles to form background loops of binder and plated threads at some needles and binder thread loops at the other needles over which edge hooks are holding plated thread tucks which are further transferred to needles forming pattern loops by raising needles by one level above than complete clearing. ^ EFFECT: extended product range of single-knit sinker knitted fabric with patterns. ^ 3 dwg
