FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be used for treating malignant glaucoma, which develops after anti-glaucoma operation. In the lower-external sector, 5 mm from the limb a perforation is made in the sclera and flat part of the ciliary body. Aspiration of the vitreous humour is done from the middle sections in volume of 0.3 ml. Using a syringe and a blunt cannula, 0.2-0.3 ml of viscoelastic based on methylcellulose is put in a single-step into the anterior chamber through the paracentesis of the cornea. Anterior synechia and goniosynechia in the anterior chamber are separated using a spreading rod. Aspiration of the vitreous humour in volume of 1.0 ml is continued slowly. The method allows for avoiding considerable pressure fall in the anterior chamber and vitreous cavity, restoration and long term retention of the correct anatomical position of the structure of the eyeball, while protecting corneal endothelial cell. ^ EFFECT: normalisation of electrogenesis of the retina, state of local immunological status and intraocular pressure, elimination of anterior synechia and goniosynechia, elimination of keratopathy. ^ 1 ex |
