A backlight unit is provided to uniformly distribute a light source. In a circuit board(10), an LED(Light Emitting Diode) is mounted. A diffusing plate(40) is positioned at an upper side of the circuit board. A light guide plate(30) is positioned between the circuit board and the diffusing plate. An upper pattern and a lower pattern are formed in upper and lower surfaces of the light guide plate. The upper pattern or the lower pattern uniformly transfer light emitting from the LED to the diffusing plate. The light guide plate is formed by transparent resin. |
