SHARP-EDGED BLADE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

A sharp-edged blade and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve abrasion resistance of the bond and holding force of the abrasive grains by forming two protective layers having high strength and good anti-corrosion property. A sharp-edged blade comprises an abrasive layer(2) of circular thin plate shape including abrasives supported on bond, a first protective layer(4), and a second protective layer(5). The first protective layer is an oxide film made formed on at least the bond surface of the abrasive layer by sol-gel method. The second protective layer formed on the surface of the first protective layer is a thick oxide film which is poly-crystal without grain boundary layer consisting of glass layer does not exist in the interface of crystallization.
