FIELD: production line engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: conveyor is equipped with two belt arresters, each consisting of braking belt mounted on rotating reel. In the location area of first drum side walls of the reel can interact with the drum surface and are distanced from conveyor belt runs. In the location area of second drum side walls of the reel can interact with internal surface of conveyor belt run. Each reel is encased in cylindrical shell. Cylindrical shell surface facing each drum features rectangular cut transverse to the direction of conveyor belt. Each shell has guide lines attached along the lower edge of rectangular cut and turned gradually down towards the first drum and up towards the second drum, over declining distance from the first drum and conveyor belt section running off the second drum. Guiding lines can let braking belts pass through the gaps and tighten braking belts between conveyor belt and cylindrical surfaces of driving drums during braking of conveyor belt circuit. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of belt arrester performance, increased braking effort, prevented belt wear, limited return travel of belt during braking. ^ 4 dwg |
