A device for controlling the amount of agricultural materials and a control method thereof are provided to control distribution of the agricultural materials in each compartment using a memory in which the goad spread amount is stored. A control method of the amount of agricultural materials includes the following steps of: inputting a PGS location of a driving unit which is attached on a device(300); confirming the goad spread amount of the agricultural materials corresponding to each compartment(310); and controlling the goal spread amount of the agricultural materials according to confirmed movement speed(330). A control step of the goal spread amount of the agricultural materials spreads the agricultural materials by controlling a motor or a solenoid valve.
