A hot water supply device using a heat pump and a control method thereof are provided to heat the floor while the heat pump is performing the defrost operation. A control method of the hot water supply for using a heat pump is as follows. In a heating operation step of a heat pump, a pump runs relative to the load of a hot water supply pipe. The heat pump drives the heating operation(S1, S2, S3). In a defrost operation step of the heater, the heater, between the hot water supply pipe of a water circulator and a condensation/evaporator of the heat pump, is on and the defrost operation of the heat pump is performed if defrost condition is satisfied while the pump is running and the heat pump is performing the heating operation(S4, S5, S6). In a defrost termination step, the heat is off and the heat pump operates the heating the defrost operation step of the heater.
