A method for manufacturing a potassium organotrifluoroborate derivative is provided to produce the potassium oranotrifluoroborate compound without isolation of intermediate. A method for producing a potassium organotrifluoroborate compound of the chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of reacting organic lithium reagent with a compound of the chemical formula 2 to produce a compound of the chemical formula 3; a step of reacting the compound of the chemical formual 3 with borate compound of the chemical formula 5 to produce a compound of the chemical formula 4; and a step of reacting a compound of the chemical formula 4 with potassium hydrogen fluoride to produce the compound of the chemical formula 1. In the chemical formulas 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are selected among phenylene, biphenylene, naphthylene, or anthrylene.
