A network management system and an operation method thereof are provided to distribute the load concentrated on an application server and a network, thereby shortening the connection establishing time for controlling network equipment in a user terminal. An application server(100) manages each network equipment forming a network based on the CORBA. UI servers(200a,200b) receives/stores operation status data of assigned network equipment from the application server, and then relays the transmission/reception of data between user terminals(300a,300b) and the application server.
