PIXEL STRUCTURE OF TFT-LCD

A pixel structure of a TFT-LCD is provided to prevent electrostatic discharge by a parasitic capacitor. A gate line(13) and a data line(12) cross each other to define a pixel unit. A parasitic capacitor is formed in a crossing point of the data line and the gate line. A branch(133) is provided on the gate line. A protection capacitor is formed between the branch and the data line. The protection capacitor is connected to the parasitic capacitor in parallel. Capacitance of the protection capacitor is smaller than capacitance of the parasitic capacitor.
