A tool for objectively evaluating the technique of a medical treatment such as an operation or a palpation performed by a doctor or a medical student. A medical technique evaluation system (10) comprises a soft material member (18) having a cut (27) made in itself for simulative suture by a trainee such as a doctor or a medical student and elastically transformable by a force acting on the surroundings of the cut (27), reflection photointerruptor (16) for measuring the state values in three orthogonal axes according to the elastic transform of the soft material member (18) and a technique evaluation device (12) for determining the evaluation value of the technique of the suture and ligation on the basis of the measured values from the reflection photointerruptor (16).
