A remote management system of an image processing device and a method thereof are provided to remotely manage an operation state of image processing devices respectively installed according to a region, failure information causing failure and failure information due to an abnormal operation. A plurality of image processing devices(200) senses the first state information according to power state transition or a driving state. A plurality of image processing devices provides the sensed state information through a network. The plurality of image processing devices performs polling response about polling. A management server(100) manages the second state information grasped from the first state information and the polling response. The management server manages records of each image processing device based on the first and second state information.
