The holder (1) has an angular supporting and fixing plate (2) supported and fixed on an edge of a docking platform. Vertical gussets (8) are projected from the plate towards the top and are provided with holes (9) in which rod or stud (10) is fixed. The rod or stud secures a spherical fender by its ring. The gussets are terminated by a vertical support base (13) supported on the perimeter of the fender so as to maintain the fender in operational position in which a free part of the fender is turned or directed towards water.
